Riley was discharged from CHOP on Tuesday last week. He is Home post cath like every other time… Like Nothing Ever Happened! He is a Warrior ♥

Riley is out of the cath. In a Pod in the CICU. Ugh. Everything went fine in the cath. Left Lower was dilated. Upper Right was not. Dr Rome has decided to stop the Plavix. Says that it will cause a bleeding issue during Transplant. My concern is that the Plavix is for the stent he should have had removed three and a half years ago. So Now there is a slightly increased risk that the stent will clot, but the bleeding factor during transplant is of higher concern to them. So we Journey on and Pray that Stopping the Plavix doesn’t cause an Extremely Acute Emergency! Also… Because of the reaction.. Four doses of IV Steroids have been ordered for post cath. Last one being tomorrow morning. For Now… Riley is Sleeping Comfortably ♥

They said… When He is Born He Will Begin the Fight of His Life ♥ They were Right… You have had to Fight for Your Life Since the Day it Began ♥ I Will Say, Though, You are One Of the Strongest Warriors I Know ♥ You Have Come Through Every Battle! Some May Have Left Scars, but You Have Won Them All!!! Now… Riley… You will be 4!! An Age that Doctors weren’t to sure that you were going to make it to See…Yet… You Are Still Here… Fighting!! Beating the Odds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I Pray that Next Year I Can Share the Same Post… Except you’ll be 5 and You Will Have A New Set of Heart and Lungs and you Will Be Growing and Thriving and Proving All the Medical Books and Statistics WRONG!!!
