Riley O’Brien Support Page I received an email today from Dr. Hanna’s office that per Dr. Rome they would be putting Riley on the Cath schedule for the wk of September 12th. Ok. Does make sense to do it now rather then Bump him in later. Never know.. Maybe Transplant will come First ♥

To quick recap… Riley’s cath was Complication Free! He is spending the night in the CICU and will hopefully/most likely be discharged in the AM.

11:30AM we report to CHOP. My feelings are really Torn! Riley has had SO MANY Caths that it is Almost routine! Pretty much the same thing Everytime! However…The Reality is… The More Caths Riley has the Greater His Risk for Major Complications Become!
Stay Calm cause we’ve done this over a Dozen times or Be a Mess cause we have done this over a dozen times!?

Riley’s cath has been scheduled for this Thursday 7/28.
Today was the usual pretesting. Chest xray.. Blood work.. Echo. Of course Riley Hates All of it, but who could really blame him!
We will start his premeds Wednesday, and they’ll call Wednesday to tell us what time to report Thursday.
